CEO and Executive Board Member

Over a career spanning 27 years at leading banks, Yann forged solid trust-based relationships with a high-profile network of clients and colleagues. Driven by his desire to improve client service, he recruited a team of like-minded individuals and created AlphaSwiss, based on his own vision of a transparent, personalized business model, free from conflict of interest and designed to offer peace of mind to his clients.

An eternal enthusiast, a dedicated entrepreneur and technology lover, Yann seeks out exciting investment opportunities with vision and passion. In addition to being a true family man, Yann’s excellent record in martial arts is a testament to his strong determination and focus.

Sébastien Haas

Client Officer

Sébastien started as an assistant to the Active Advisory team at a universal bank above 15 years ago. He then joined Yann Labry in the Ultra-High-Net-Worth Middle East department, where he contributed to developing a substantial book of clients. Hungry for more, he proved his drive and determination by studying in parallel for a Bachelor degree in Business and Administration from Geneva University.

Sébastien is an outstandingly competent and sociable person with exceptional personal skills. He is particularly trustworthy and will always go the extra mile to serve or help others. Sébastien enjoys fine food and martial arts (insofar as these are compatible!).

Jens Moeller

Senior Relationship Manager

During his 34 years in the financial industry, based in Germany, Singapore, Abu Dhabi and Geneva, Jens has gained a wealth of experience in the markets, focusing on clients and managing teams of private bankers. Excellent service, listening to business partners and providing honest and reliable advice are the keys to his success. He joined AlphaSwiss because he shares the team’s dedication to clients and highly regards its attractive non-standard product offering.

When he is not working, Jens enjoys exploring nature and travelling with his family. Making his profession his hobby, he is also an active collector of historical securities or non-valeurs.

Carolla Labry

Office manager

Carolla takes great care of the team and provides support in every way possible. She puts a great deal of effort into creating the optimum environment in which to perform and, as such, is the key element to the equilibrium of the team. Carolla is without a doubt the most resourceful person in the office, covering activities ranging from HR to client care and meetings.

Carolla is lively with a strong personality, but also gentle and caring. She is a true family person who also takes care of clients and colleagues as if they were part of hers.

Gregory Lamot

Relationship Manager

Before joining us, Gregory spent 11 years working in a leading Swiss private Bank in Geneva. He started his career into the management support after graduating with a bachelor in Business Administration. His integrity and genuine care for others helped him grow over the years within the bank. He gained experience as assistant, client advisor and then investment specialist. His determination enabled him to build long and trusting relationships with his clients, and became Director, taking care of an important groups of clients within Southeast Europe. Eager to continuously learn more, Gregory completed an MBA and a program in sustainable business. Besides his career, he’s as well board member of the family company since 2008.

Gregory loves the outdoors ! He does numerous sports that can satisfy his thirst for action and touch with nature, in particular alpine and water ski. His strong sense of empathy fuels his ability to put himself in other person’s shoes, and understand their needs.

Pierre Schweizer

Senior Relationship Manager

Pierre started his career in the finance industry in 1982, in one Swiss leading universal bank where he held various positions during 38 years, including more than 25 years in the Wealth Management Division. Thanks to his core values such as loyalty, reliability and honesty, Pierre developed a solid experience and trust with important groups of private and institutional clients in the Middle East.

Pierre strongly believes that the AlphaSwiss model offers him the best platform to enhance further the client’s experience and provide first class and personalized services. Positive attitude and CARPE DIEM motto are key elements for Pierre who loves family and friends gathering and travelling, fine food and wines, nature discovery and last but not least, sports cars experiences.

René Morgenthaler

CIO

René is a Financial specialist with over 30 years’ experience in the management of private and institutional portfolios with key expertise across a full range of asset classes. 

For the entirety of his career, he has worked with premium wealth managers, providing market knowledge as well as product advice and solutions to both front-line global professionals and also to direct clients. René has held several management positions including Head of Trading, Head of Advisory and Chief Investment Officer.

René is a passionate and entrepreneurial professional with strong focus on what is best for the client. He holds an MBA in “Leadership & Sustainability” and has a strong and proven ability to manage and motivate teams. 

In his free time, René likes practicing outdoor activities particularly cycling and skiing.

Nicolas Pelhat

Investment Manager

Nicolas has held several positions in the finance sector. He holds a master in Engineering (Mathematics Applied to Finance) and his first experience in finance was in Paris on the short-term trading desk in an international investment bank. He then moved to London as a Quantitative Analyst in an international asset management firm before settling in Geneva among Swiss private banks where he gained valuable experience and vast knowledge on financial markets. Through these experiences, Nicolas has proven to be a constant source of trust and a reliable team player. Nicolas is passionate about markets, has an eye for details and executes with a high level of integrity.

When Nicolas is not playing the guitar or fueling his passion for history, both hobbies he has since his childhood, he enjoys spending time with family and friends.

John Timossi

Senior Investment Manager

John has more than 15 years in the financial markets Industry. He holds a Master in Political Science and Business Management from the University of Geneva. Over his career, he held several investment roles among renowned Swiss and International Private Banks. John has broadened his investments skills particularly on derivatives and Structured Products during his time as Structured Product Specialist and Investment Advisor covering Middle Eastern UHNW. Being client centric and solution-oriented, he places the interest of customers at the forefront of his priorities. 

In his free time, John enjoys traveling the world to find the best diving spots, riding his bike in the mountains surrounding Geneva and spending time with his family and friends.

Linda Beldi

Senior Client Officer

With over twenty years as a Private Banking Assistant and Client Manager, Linda developed broad experience by servicing sophisticated, Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients in the most well-renowned Swiss Wealth Management Banks. In 2009, she contributed to found and develop a Multi-Family Office where she worked for ten years. Multilingual and a certified Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA), Linda is determined to maintain the highest standards of excellence in customer Service. Based on her strong personal values, AlphaSwiss Partners defines her beliefs, principles, and philosophy for a greater continuity in her career.

Always seeking challenges and success since her youth, Linda has found resilience and inspiration in mastering traditional Shotokan Karate, mountaineering and rock climbing in the Alps.

Christian Kranicke

Senior Private Equity, Risk & Fund Structuring Specialist

Christian began his career in commodity trading. He was one of the first of a small group of individuals to pioneer the global marketing of raw cotton from the newly independent states of Soviet Central Asia. After working in the commodity markets, Christian moved to the capital markets where he co-founded an interbank brokerage house specializing in the bond and derivatives markets of emerging Europe. Later, while expanding the geographic reach of the same group into African markets, he began establishing partnerships with a broad range of Fintech companies. Fascinated with the next wave of opportunities in tech innovation, Christian left the capital markets to work full time in the investment sector focusing on blockchain venture capital deals across multiple verticals. Christian honed his skills in deal analysis, negotiation, communication, and management over nearly a decade in the venture capital sector. He brings his deep knowledge of the challenges facing growth-stage companies to his work in private markets.

Outside of work, Christian enjoys travelling, music and a broad range of healthy living activities in the Alps.

Wladimir Barneaud

Relationship Manager

Wladimir began his professional career fifteen years ago, serving in the Active Advisory department of a prominent Swiss bank in Geneva. In this capacity, he was charged with formulating investment recommendations across all asset classes for clients residing primarily in Switzerland, Belgium, and Saudi Arabia. After nearly a decade marked by significant accomplishments, he transitioned to a four-year tenure at a Family Office before joining AlphaSwiss. He holds dual Bachelor’s degrees from EDHEC Business School and the University of the West of England and has earned a Master’s degree in Capital Markets from ESLSCA Business School.

Wladimir enjoys spending time with his family, as well as sharing good food and fine wine with friends. He is passionate about various sports and enjoys attending live events, including Football, Rugby, and Formula One contests. He also participates actively in several nonprofit organizations, contributing to their respective missions.

Jérémy Barras

Junior Assistant Client Support

Jeremy began his professional career in the financial industry at 18 years old. With a strong sense to help others and provide high quality services, he started to develop his financial skills by doing a Swiss Federal Diploma (AWM). During his last 6 years experiences in the banking industry in Geneva, Jeremy acquired a solid knowledge covering investments, products and support. His dedication and values matched with AlphaSwiss Partner, where he delivers high quality assistance to clients.

When Jeremy is not in the office, you will probably find him in the Swiss Alps, as he’s enjoying exploring the world and particularly mountains. Sociable and enthusiast, Jeremy loves sharing time with his family, friends and cats.
